Looking Back At A Year Of Silverthorn Studios!

Well, It's hard to believe its been almost a year since we first opened our doors.
We can honestly say its been one of the most rewarding years of our lives creatively and professionally – and the best part is, we're just getting started!

Some highlights from the 1st year at Silverthorn Studios:

- During our first week, superstar Kiefer Sutherland recorded at Silverthorn in a session lead by our friends at Mint Music
- Other names that came in this year include Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo, Ian Thornley of Big Wreck, and broadcaster Alan Cross
- Vintage TV filmed a TV episode here that will air on the Rogers network across Canada, as well as in China, Italy and the UK
- Many sold-out ‘Inner Toon Voice Acting Workouts’ for aspiring voice actors led by Taylor Abrahamse
- Co-hosted voice acting events with Emmy-nominated voice director Susan Hart
- Three successful Toronto Harmonica Meetup Workshops led by Bryn Scott-Grimes
- An art show and celebration for dear friend and brilliant veteran actor/artist Aron Tager, (Stumble On A Secret Pool), which raised nearly $5,000!
- Lots of good memories hosting our free community ‘Monthly Mix’ events, allowing artists of all walks to meet, mingle, and make music.
- Many up-and-coming  artists recorded singles and albums here, including Aniqa Dear, Lyden Legault, Andrew Ferri, Nerissa Bradley, O Frontera, Peach Flesh, John Hope, Kim Davis, VDG, Helen Janine, Kiko, Joe Kostyk, and more!
- Writing and recording our own personal albums, slated for release next year. Shrouded in secrecy, but they will be worth it!
- Developing an amazing team of engineers, promotions experts, producers, and musicians that we've gotten to form great friendships with.
